Memorial Day Weekend

Joe and I usually go somewhere by ourselves for Memorial Day weekend because of our anniversary. This year we decided to go to Paducah instead. Joe's sisters Abbie and Annie were able to come too. It was great getting to see most of the family this weekend. The weekend was great for Anna because her cousins Tristan and Addie both walk. I think they are the reason Anna is walking so well now. Here are pics from our weekend.

Anna played with the baby and highchair all weekend. Grandma let us bring one home since she has two!

Grandma "Ma" helping Addie swim. Anna said Ma and Pa all weekend instead of Grandma and Grandpa.

Addie and Anna playing in the pool. The weather didn't cooperate the rest of the weekend.

Tristan wanted Uncle Joe to ride the horse with her.

We left Paducah Monday afternoon and headed to Nashville to visit Mark and Teri. Teri was 40 weeks pregnant Monday, but now has a sweet baby boy born Wednesday night!

It's a ....

GIRL!!!

Yes, we are having another baby girl! We are super excited about Anna having a baby sister. I think they will get along so well because they will be so close in age. Joe surprised me this morning at the doctor. He had told me he couldn't miss work. I was a little disappointed at first, but understood. As I was driving to Dr. Vic's this morning, I got behind Joe on Broadway. He is such a sweet husband. Today was extra special because it is our 4th Anniversary.

Happy Anniversary Joe! I love you so much and am thankful God brought us together.

On a final note, Anna was 17 months old yesterday! She is now walking alot more. She can walk where ever she wants, but still crawls some because she is faster at crawling. My little baby is not a baby anymore. I guess we better start getting ready for another baby girl.

Brycan and Regan came over to play outside yesterday. Anna loves big kids! In the second video, I finally caught Anna walking. I forgot that I shouldn't turn my camera. She walked about 5 seconds more before I could get my camera on. This is the longest she has walked so far. Hopefully this weekend will be good for her to be around two cousins that walk.

Anna liked sitting on Elmo without the water running.

Brycen did lots of tricks through the sprinkler.

Brycen is such good help with Anna!

Not quite sure about the water.

Anna loves Mommy's sunglasses.

Ready for the zoo.

Watching Jack and Jake work.

Anna with Catherine and Carson at the zoo.

Can you tell Anna and Catherine really hit it off?

Anna says Mommy now instead of Ma'ma. She doesn't do it all the time, but it is nice when she does.

Our Week

Joe commented last night that I have not been blogging much lately. Sorry! Anna and I have not been doing much lately, but playing outside. She loves it now, which makes Mommy happy! Nana and Poppy came last weekend and we had a great time visiting. On Saturday, we went to look at a house, yes, a new house. Joe and I fell in love with it and have decided to make an offer on it. We now have a For-Sale sign in our yard. Please tell all your friends about our house in Carter Mill. It is a great house with amazing neighbors! We are wanting to move to have more space. Mom and Dad realize that in November they won't have a bedroom here anymore, so they would love for us to buy this new house.

The new house has a great play structure. Anna and Daddy tried it out.

We went to Carter park last week to watch Jack and Jake and then Brycen's game. Anna liked Regan's chair.

Still not walking on her own, but is making progress!

I think we might need to ask to buy this Elmo chair from the new house.

Thanks Nana for Anna's cute dress!

Happy Mother's Day

Joe and Anna were so good to me yesterday! After church we headed to Cumberland Grill for a great lunch. Then we went to Home Depot for flowers. Anna fell asleep on the way home and slept all afternoon. Joe and I planted flowers, washed our cars, and took a nap! Then last night we visited with our wonderful neighbors! We were both sad that we could not see our wonderful Mothers yesterday! We hope they both had a great day!

My little sweetheart!

Thanks Joe for my wonderful Mother's Day gift!

Fran and I took the kids to Mr. Gattis last week. It was a little crazy because there were over 200 kids there for field trips. Our 3 kids loved all the games!

Playing with Jake.

I kept Joel last week for 3 days. It was a great test for Anna having another baby around. I am happy to announce that she did great and I think she will be an excellent big sister!

Anna loves Joel...here she is trying to give him a kiss.

Joel is a thumb sucker like Anna.

Derby Half Marathon and Family

Joe, Nathan, and Ashley ran in the KY Derby Half Marathon last Saturday. Sorry it has taken me so long to post. Vicki, Annie, all the kids, and I went to watch them finish the race. They all did great in the race! It was fun being at the race at first, but then all the smelly runners, the crowd, and the heat got to me. I started throwing up at the race and did not stop until late that night. Needless to say, last Saturday was the worse day I have had so far this pregnancy. Other than that day, I think I am about over the sickness part. My energy is also coming back! I went to the doctor last Thursday and the baby looked great! I had lost a pound, which makes me just -1 for this pregnancy. With Anna, I lost 4 pounds before I started gaining. Hopefully this month I will gain a little weight. We go for our anatomy ultrasound on May 28 (our 4th anniversary) to find out the sex of the baby! Here are pics from the race, Laura's baby shower, and our visit to Campbellsville.

Addie (who won't be one until Saturday) is walking around like crazy!

Vicki and Emma. Emma let me braid her hair. I can't wait to braid Anna's !

I ordered these burp cloths before Dane's name was made official. I am glad there wasn't a name change.

Brittany and I are two excited Aunts!

Thanks Aunt Janet for Anna's beautiful sailor dress!

Anna and Tristan had SO MUCH FUN playing together last week. I wish we lived closer to them.

I think we need to get Anna a Dora chair like Tristan's. We couldn't keep her out of it.

Anna loved playing in Tristan's room.
