Last Weekend

Nana came to visit last weekend. It had been a while since she had seen Anna. I think Nana and Anna had fun playing together. Friday night, Nana let us go on a date. It was great getting to go out since last week was so crazy.

Anna and Nana

Anna's hair is growing like crazy and looks crazy most of the time. I decided to try a new hairdo for Anna.

Cheering on the CATS during the UT game.

Nana's favorite thing to do...read to Anna!

Anna loves "mo" (according to Anna)!

The tickle monster getting Anna.

Nana worked so hard to put the puzzle together, but Anna liked tearing it apart!

Ready for church.

Anna's dress was too hard to crawl in, so we tucked it in during church. Joe and I like staying in Anna's new room at church...only 3 little girls!

Crazy Week

This week has been a little out of the ordinary for us. Lauren went into labor Tuesday afternoon, so I stayed at the hospital until about 5:00 am Wednesday morning to see baby Joel. Wednesday I tried to just stay awake while Anna was awake. We met Joe at the hospital after Anna's morning nap to visit baby Joel. Anna loved seeing him. She kept saying "baby". She was a little jealous when I held him though. Then Thursday night we had a Sunday School girls night out in honor of Julie's wedding. After dinner, I went to the hospital to stay with Lauren and Joel. This brought back memories of almost 14 months ago. Joel and Lauren are doing great and are now home. Yesterday I was really tired, so Brittany came over so I could sleep. I took a 4 hour nap, which was much needed after not having much sleep this week. Last night, Joe and I went on a date. We had not seen each other much this week, so it was great having a night out! Thanks Mom! Now today, we are hanging out at home because Joe is off work today!!!!

Welcome to the World Joel Lindsay Crisp

Josh and Lauren Crisp had their first born son last night around 4:00 am. He weighed 6 lbs. 14 oz. and was 20 inches long. The family is doing great! Here are some pics of the family and Joel Lindsay Crisp.

Presenting Joel Lindsay Crisp...

So Sweet!

Happy Mommy!

Joel is perfect!

Proud Grandpa!

Wow, does God had perfect timing. Pastor Tony was home for a brief time before leaving for Israel again this morning.

Anxiously waiting...

Only Bailey Stipes could fit under the bars of 2 chairs and sleep for over an hour in that position.

Getting some practice before her grandson arrived.

Anna wasn't so sure about being in the bed with Lauren.

Dr. Vick delivered Anna exactly 13 months and 22 days ago in this same hospital. It was great seeing Dr. Vick hold Anna again. Wow, does time fly.

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a wonderful Valentine's Day weekend. Friday night I dropped Anna off at Abbey's for an overnight visit. My parent's were supposed to come to Knoxville, but my dad woke up Thursday morning with a kidney stone. Now you know where I get it from. Please pray for my dad. He is still hurting really bad and can't seem to pass the stone. He is going to a urologist tomorrow.

We already had plans to go on an overnight trip, so I frantically looked for a babysitter all day Thursday. Abbey came to the rescue and did a great job with Anna. She even got her to eat meatloaf! Now I am going to start cooking it even though Joe HATES it. He will eat it when his mom cooks it, so now he will have to when I do.

Friday night, Joe took me to The Chop House and then off to the house we were staying at. It was great getting away for the night! We slept in Saturday morning and Joe cooked breakfast for me! I have the best husband ever!!! Then we went to the outlets to exchange some things. We picked Anna up at 12:30 and went home to play!

My little sweetheart!

Catch Up

OK, tonight I am playing catch up in my blogging. Alot has happened over the last week, but this post will be mostly pictures. A few new things with Anna: she is cutting 4 teeth right now. 2 more on the bottom on either side of the two she already has. She is also getting her eye teeth on top. I also think she is cutting her molars because she chews on things in the back. We are not sure though. Needless to say, Anna has been a little fussy the last few days. I can't wait for all these teeth to make their way in.

Another new thing with Anna is she will look at something that is "no touch" according to Mommy and Daddy and she will now sign "no" and say "no" very clearly. It is funny to see her do this. We don't have to even tell her "no touch" because she does it for us! Sign language is so cool. We also taught her the sign for "music". She doesn't do it exactly right, but it is so cute. She loves music and can now tell me when she wants me to turn her music on. Okay, this was more writing than I thought. Here are pics from the last week.

Anna and Daddy

Anna liked the toys at the doctor.

Anna does not like band-aids. She tries to get them off.

At the doctor. Anna's iron has always been low. Dr. Kimble put her on an iron supplement. It seems to be working!

We took Daddy to lunch last week. Daddy likes Anna's hat!

Eating yogurt!

Anna using the box as a walker. She is getting more confident each day in her walking!
