9 Month Check-Up and Fair

Anna had her 9 month check-up today. Here are her stats:

Weight - 16 lbs. 9 ounces - 25th%
Height - 27 3/4 inches - 50th%
Head - 17.9 inches - 75th%

Her doctor said she looked great and that she could eat pretty much anything. I am excited about that. He also said that I could supplement my breast milk with cow's milk when I run out of my frozen milk:) I was worried about this because I am not producing as much milk anymore.

Today's doctors visit was much different from her 6 month check-up because Anna is so mobile now. She was crawling around everywhere. It was hard to keep her from crawling off the counter.

Nine Months Old

Anna is 9 months old today:( The last month has been a big month for Anna. She is FINALLY crawling:) I am trying to catch it on video, but she won't do it when I have the camera out. She talks ALL the time, saying "ba, ba" every time she sees a baby, "bo,bo" when she sees her bottle, "ma, ma" and "da, da" for me and Joe, "na, na" for Nana and she does that when she gets upset. Thanks Mom! She now points at EVERYTHING. I think she understands the sign for eat because every time we do it, she starts licking her lips:) She kind of does the sign for "all done" and we are working on "please" and "eat". There is probably more that she did during her 8th month, but I can't think of anything else right now.

She goes for her 9 month check-up Monday, so I will give you her stats Monday afternoon.

We went to church for open gym today. Anna had fun watching Daddy, playing with the balls, and crawling everywhere.

We went to Lexi's birthday party last night. This was our first night out when it has been a little chilly. Anna sported her new UK sweater and leggings to match Daddy.

Fall is Finally Here!

I love every season, but especially fall. I get excited when it starts getting cooler outside, when I can put out my fall decorations, buy pumpkins and mums, and eat candy corn, caramel apples, and PUMPKIN PIE! Fall just makes me happy!

Krisi, Noah, and Caroline came over for a playdate today! We had a great time:)
