Happy Birthday Daddy!

Joe, We hope you have a great 28th birthday today. We love you so much! I am so thankful for you. You are such a great husband and daddy! God has truly blessed me with you. Have a great day! I love you:)

Anna loves her daddy so much. She says "Daddeeee" all the time. Every morning she says Daddee and points to her door because that is where she had seen him last the night before. She loves playing with Daddy at night and especially loves looking at the fish with him. She blows daddy kisses and we even think she tries to sign "I love you" to him at night because Daddy always signs it to her right before bed. Anna has the best daddy in the world!



Anna LOVED these crayons. She did not want to let go of them for her nap today.

Fun Weekend

This weekend has been so much fun, especially compared to last weekend when I had the stomach bug. Friday night we had Josh and Lauren over for dinner and cards. We realized we hadn't played "Blitz" since before Anna was born. Then Saturday morning Meagan came over. We went to get our Christmas pictures Saturday afternoon, and then off for a date Saturday night. Thanks for babysitting Meagan! If you need a good babysitter, call Meagan. It was great having a night to ourselves!

Anna LOVES cheese. She also likes showing us her head. So today the cheese ended up on her head.

Joe is so helpful with Anna. Today he got Anna dressed after church while I cleaned up the kitchen. He asked me what to put on her and I said, anything comfortable. Here is the outfit Daddy chose:)

Anna's First Haircut

OK, I am the bad mommy who gets her daughter's haircut before she is a year old. I had my haircut today, so I asked LeAnna if she would cut Anna's too. I don't think I could have stood waiting until she was a year old. She just trimmed it up and it looks SO much better! Thanks LeAnna:) Anna did great during her haircut. Back in Business

OK, my laptop battery has been shot for about two weeks and I have only been able to get on the computer at night on Joe's laptop. I have been going crazy and felt lost from the outside world. This post is long because I have so much to blog about.

For those of you who know Fran, she loves smocked outfits, especially dresses. Last week we started looking for a birthday dress for Anna, but got side tracked on this Christmas dress. Here is the beautiful Angel dress Anna will be wearing for Christmas. We didn't know it, but it came with the bow:)

I bought these tights for Anna last January. They were way to big then, but fit her perfectly now!

Anna has been pulling up to her knees for a while now, but Wednesday, she pulled up on this toy. Since Wednesday, she has been pulling up on everything:)

This outfit has a panda bear attached. Anna gets upset because she can't get him in her mouth.

I am now hooked on Ebay. I was afraid I wasn't going to win this dress, but we did:) This is Anna's birthday dress!

Kentucky Wildcats

Anna and I went to my parents' house Thursday through Saturday to visit with family and to meet my best friend. Krista has never met Anna, so she said we needed to meet in Harrodsburg sometime. We had a great time visiting with Krista and my family. Friday night, Krista and I had the opportunity to go the Kentucky basketball game! Thanks for getting us the tickets Aunt Janet! We had so much fun:) Anna and I missed Daddy and were so excited to see him late last night!

Marriage Retreat

Our Bible Fellowship class had an awesome marriage retreat this weekend in Dandridge. We had such a wonderful time of fellowship, relaxation, putt-putt, games, and much more. We are already planning our next retreat this summer. We stayed in a beautiful house and we really appreciate Don and Debra for letting us stay there! We hope we will have more couples come next time. If you are looking for a Bible Fellowship class, we would love to have you in our class. We are at Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church and we are the Fertile Ground class.

We had 7 couples this weekend for the retreat! Thanks Chuck and Shannon for coming and speaking to us!
