6 Month Picture Preview

Our Weekend

We have had a busy weekend. Yesterday, we went to David and Eden's beautiful wedding at church. Last night we went to Chili's for dinner and Anna enjoyed all the surroundings. Then we had an awesome day at church. Our youth went to camp last week and there were a total of 10 salvations! Our invitation this morning was incredible seeing all those students come forward. God is really moving in our church right now. If you are not connected in a church body and want to feel God's presence, I would encourage you to come to our church, Chilhowee Hills Baptist church. After church, we went to Jack and Jake's 2nd birthday party. Fran and Justin, the party was great! Here are pictures from the weekend.

Happy Six Months!

I can't believe it, Anna is 6 months old today! Time has flown by and my little baby is growing up too fast. Here are a few pictures of Anna today - 6 months old and then I added a few of her 6 months ago.

Fun Week

Anna and I have had a very fun week! Yesterday, my Aunt Betty and Uncle Eugene stopped in Knoxville to take us to lunch. They were driving to Kentucky from Flordia. This was the first time they have seen Anna in person. They came to the hospital while I was in labor, but Anna was taking too long to come out and they had to leave before she was born. We were so excited to see them yesterday. Thanks for a great lunch!

We also had visitors last night and today. Carrie, Brycen, Regan, and Corbin came over for dinner last night because Mark is at youth camp this week. So far, camp is going great with at least 3 salvations that we know of!! Anna LOVES watching Brycen and Regan. Then today, Regan came over while Brycen went to get in kindergarten shots. He was so brave! Regan helped Anna swim in her kiddy pool. We had alot of fun with Regan today!

Anna tried to chew on Corbin's feet. She puts EVERYTHING in her mouth right now. She did like looking at Corbin. Isn't he growing? We weighed him and he is already 8.6 (born at 6.11).

I love how Anna and Brycen are looking at each other! So Sweet!

Regan held Anna in the pool so I could take some pictures. Anna and Regan had fun in the pool today.


"Who needs TV when we have you to watch Anna!" Daddy said this tonight. Isn't that just so sweet. This is what we do every night. Joe is right, we don't need TV. Anna is so much better than any TV show.

Photo Shoot

I decided to do a little photo shoot yesterday. Rhonda, I need some lessons! Thank you Robin for this cute 4th of July outfit. She and Addie have the same outfit. I can't wait to see them in it together!

Sitting Up!

Anna has been trying to sit up for a while now. Monday, she started sitting up pretty well on her own. She can for a minute or so, and then she falls over. If she holds on to something, she can sit up for quite a while. Aunt Laura, her Christmas gift really helps her sit up!!!

First Trip to the Zoo

Yesterday, Anna made her first trip to the zoo. We went right when she woke up from her morning nap, hoping that she would last a while. Anna usually only stays awake 1 and 1/2 hours between naps. She really likes her sleep. Anyway, we ventured to the zoo with Jack and Jake, Brycen, Regan, Corbin, Fran, and Carrie. We had a really good time. Anna seemed to like the animals. Well, I think she liked watching all the kids more. I think this time next year, she will really like the zoo. She fell asleep when we got to Kid's Cove and slept about 30 minutes. When she woke up, we headed home for the rest of her nap.

Hilton Head

Hilton Head

We made it home from Hilton Head today! We had a great vacation, but it was nice to come home. I was not sure how Anna would do on vacation, but she was amazing. It was like we were at home because she slept all night every night and took great naps every day! I think Anna liked sleeping in our closet! She also did great in the car trip back today. She was glad to be home though. When we put her in her bed for her nap this afternoon, she talked to herself for quite a while. It was so sweet. Thanks Nana and Poppy for a great vacation! I know Anna enjoyed being with you all this week! Here is just a sneak preview from our trip. I am going to work on a slideshow in the next few days, but here are just a few from the trip.
