Marriage Retreat

Our Bible Fellowship class had our annual Marriage Retreat this past weekend. We had 20 people this year and had a wonderful time. Here are pictures from our weekend.

Washing Car with Daddy

Anna helped Daddy wash his car the other night. She loved playing in the bubbles. Daddy put water in her own bucket and also gave her a sponge. She liked playing with the water and the bucket more than washing the car, but she helped a little.

Last Trip to KY for a while...

On the spur of the moment, Joe and I decided to take one last trip to KY before Ella arrives. Joe's brother and brother in-law ran in an 18.6 mile race last Sunday, so all of Joe's family were going to be together. We stayed with Aunt Janet Friday night and then got up and drove to Campbellsville Saturday morning to spend the day with Joe's family. Anna had a fever Friday night and did not act like herself on Saturday, but we all had a great time. Thanks Aunt Janet for hosting us Friday night. Anna enjoyed making cookies with Aunt Janet Saturday morning. Nana and Poppy did not get back into town until Saturday night after a 2 week trip to Hawaii. Anna was very excited to see them Saturday night! Here are pictures from our trip.

Fran gave Anna a big girl chair yesterday. Anna loves sitting with Mommy and Daddy at dinner now! Thanks Fran!

Tailgate Party

Our church had a tailgate party/community outreach this past weekend. We had so much fun participating in this event and seeing people from our community come to our church. Anna had a ball playing all the games. When we got to church yesterday morning, she said, "GAMES!" We had to inform her that the games were gone.

Labor Day Weekend

Joe's parents came to Knoxville for Labor Day weekend. We had lots of fun visiting with Grandma and Grandpa and also got alot done around our house. Daddy and Grandpa painted Anna's new big girl room on Saturday while Anna, Grandma, and I went to the zoo. Then yesterday, they put Anna's new big girl bed together. We still have alot of work to do in her new room, but we are making progress. I think Anna is going to like her new bed. We put her in it after Daddy put up the rail. We also got bear to put in there with her. She laid right down and said "My bed!" She didn't want to get out when we were ready to leave. Then a few minutes later she came in my bathroom with bear. We have a rule at our house that she can't carry bear around, he has to stay in her bed. So I told her to go put bear back in her bed. This was a test because I wanted to see which bed she would put him in. Can you guess which bed bear ended up in?

HER BIG GIRL BED!!!! That made us really happy!

We haven't put her in there yet, but will sometime this month. I think she is going to do fine in her big girl bed! Here are pictures from our weekend. I will post a picture of her room when it is all complete.

Yes, this is what we wore to church on Sunday. Sunday was our high attendance day for Bibe Fellowship. The theme this year is "Get in the Game". Everyone was supposed to wear their favorite team shirt. What a great day we had at CHBC! We love our church and the opportunity to serve there.
