Anna and I went to Rhonda's for a playdate Wednesday. We had alot of fun hanging out with Rhonda, Fran, and all the kids:) Thanks Rhonda for a great lunch and playdate:)

8 Months Old

Anna is 8 months old today:) Like I say every month, time is going by too fast and our baby is quickly growing out of the "baby stage":( She can get anywhere she wants now and wants to touch all the things that are "no touch". She knows that when Mommy or Daddy says "no touch", she is not supposed to touch the thing she has her eye on. Sometimes she does it anyway and then gets a spanking for it. I know some of you are thinking, "bad Mommy, she is too young to get spanked", but she is learning very quickly what she can touch and what she cannot touch. She is also learning sign language very well. Just in the past few days, she has started signing "all done" when she gets done eating. I will sign it, then she does it. It is very cute. I will try to video it one day. I weighed Anna Monday and she weighs 16 pounds 3 ounces. Her weight gain has really slowed down in the last few months, but I think it is because she is SOOOO active now. We did a photo shoot yesterday, so here are the pictures.

Brycen's Birthday Party and Bathtime

We went to Brycen's birthday party Saturday. We stayed a little longer because Anna was napping. Here is a video of Joe and Brycen wrestling on Wii. The rest of the video is of Anna taking a bath last night. As you can see, she is much more active during her bath now. She wants to get on her belly during her bath.

Fun Filled Week

We have had a great week back home! We started the week off with a wonderful lunch with Nana and Poppy and several friends from church at Wasabi. Anna loves to watch the show while we are there. Then Monday night we went to Mark and Carrie's for our small group draft. We were supposed to wear our color, so we thought Anna should too. Can you guess what our color is? Then Wednesday, we went swimming at Grammy Angie's pool with Fran, Jack, and Jake. J & J are so brave in the pool. They gave me a preview of what my summer might be like next year. Wednesday night we started small groups back at church:) We had an awesome night getting together with our group and then seeing two students get saved:) God is really moving in our church and we are so thankful to be a part of it! Then today, Anna went to Carrie's while I had my Valentine's Day massage from Karen. Thanks Carrie and Karen!

Trip to Kentucky Video

Trip to Kentucky

Anna and I went to Kentucky for a few days last week to visit my grandmother who just had knee replacement surgery. I think my mom and grandmother enjoyed having Anna there for a few days. Thanks Mom for letting me have a little break! We enjoyed our visit, but were ready to get back home to see Daddy:) Thanks for letting us go Joe:) We have decided that the best time to travel with Anna is at bed time. We left Saturday night at bed time and Anna slept the entire way home:) I was glad to be home so I could go to church with Joe yesterday. Joe is now teaching our Sunday School class. He did a great job and we want to invite all of our friends to join us in our Bible Fellowship class at Chilhowee Hills at 9:30 every Sunday morning. We would love to have each one of you in our class:)

Poppy has started a new trick with Anna - flipping her. I was a little nervous at first, but Anna loves it.

I played in an alumni soccer game Saturday against the new soccer team at CU. I decided that I am too old and out of shape to play soccer anymore. We had fun though!

I love to ski and wakeboard:) I went out on the lake Satuday with Joe's sister Abbie and her husband Todd. I haven't done it for two years because I was pregnant last summer. Thanks Abbie and Todd!
