Our Week So Far...

It has been nice having our lives back to normal this week. I feel like we have been going ninety miles a minute for the last month. Anna and I have not done much this week but play with her new toys. She loves to play with them and walk with her stroller.

Last night Anna had another high fever. We ended up calling the after hours line at B & G to see what we should do. They told us to monitor her over night and then bring her in today. She was lifeless last night and this morning. We went to the doctor after lunch, but did not get many answers. Her white-blood count was normal, but she still has a high fever. They think she might be having a reaction to the shots she had last week. They said that those round of shots take 10 days for a reaction to occur. Please pray that nothing is wrong and that this is just a reaction to the shots. I HATE seeing Anna like this and just want her back to her normal, happy self.

Trying to get Anna to drink juice so she would pee. It didn't work, so they had to giver her a catheter. They took her out of the room and wouldn't let us go. They said she did great.

Yum puffs!

Anna and Mommy at the doctor. This was taken before the puke. They were doing everything to see what was wrong. They wanted to get a culture of her throat, but she gagged and then puked all over me and her.

Daddy getting ready to grab Anna covered in puke so I could clean myself up.

Daddy really did not want to get puke on him.

Anna loves balls. She is good at signing ball too.

Jack showing Anna how to make the train move.

Jack and Jake came over to play Tuesday before Anna started feeling bad. She likes having playmates!

Vicki, the poncho and hat finally fit Anna. She doesn't really like wearing the hat though. My sister in-law Vicki knitted this for Anna!

Sweet smile

She had trouble figuring the poncho out. She didn't know what to do with her hands.

Looks like Anna doesn't have any hands.

Anna is now in her big girl carseat and LOVES it because she is facing forward. She is not quite 20 lbs. Shh, don't tell.

Sara, I'm so sorry Anna hasn't been feeling well. We had the same thing going on with Katie this week. She woke up Sunday night around 3:30 with a really high fever. I put her in bed with us after some motrin, but it just wouldn't go away. She had her last shot (until she is 4) the Monday before and they told me the same thing about 5-10 days later is when the reaction comes. I had to hold Katie down while they put the catheter in her. I almost cried. She's much better now, so hang in there!!

Wow...I'm sorry Anna's been a little under the weather! She looked so cuge at the doctor's office despite her feeling bad, though! :) LOVE the close-up picture of her in the poncho looking over her shoulder! TOO CUTE! Can't believe how grown-up she's getting!

Yeaaaaa! I have been waiting a long time to see a baby in one of those ponchos I made. I am glad I made the soft colors for her and her blond-with-a-twinge-of-red hair and fair skin.

Glad she is feeling better. You are becoming quite the seasoned mommy!

I got busy calling you earlier today and forgot to leave a comment.

Awe. That is a cute shawl thingy.
I used to wear those all the time when I was little. :)
