Anna's Birthday

I think Anna had a great birthday yesterday. We started the day doing something we never do, but will cherish for the rest of our lives. We were at Joe's parent's house with other babies and distractions. So Anna woke up at 6:15 am central time on her birthday. She didn't cry until she stood up in her pack and play and saw Joe and I in our bed. We decided to put her in bed with us for just a few minutes. When she got up in our bed, we sang Happy Birthday to her and cuddled for about 10 minutes. It was so sweet because Anna doesn't cuddle much anymore and we were alone as a family for the first few minutes of her birthday. Then we put her back in bed and she slept until 8:00. Anna opened some presents at Grandma's that morning, then we went over to Aubert and Katheren the Great's for lunch. Grandma made a cake for Anna and we celebrated after lunch. Anna doesn't really dig into the cake. She just puts one finger and touches the icing. She licks the icing some, but is not a huge fan of it yet.

Anna can now tell you she is one by raising her pointer finger! It is really cute. I will try to get a pic of it soon.

Ready to blow out her candle!

Anna liked Daddy reading her card to her!

Anna loves her baby and new dresses Aubert and Katheren the Great!

Yum...CAKE!

I think this pic is cute:)

I can't believe our baby is one:(
