Anna is 8 months old today:) Like I say every month, time is going by too fast and our baby is quickly growing out of the "baby stage":( She can get anywhere she wants now and wants to touch all the things that are "no touch". She knows that when Mommy or Daddy says "no touch", she is not supposed to touch the thing she has her eye on. Sometimes she does it anyway and then gets a spanking for it. I know some of you are thinking, "bad Mommy, she is too young to get spanked", but she is learning very quickly what she can touch and what she cannot touch. She is also learning sign language very well. Just in the past few days, she has started signing "all done" when she gets done eating. I will sign it, then she does it. It is very cute. I will try to video it one day. I weighed Anna Monday and she weighs 16 pounds 3 ounces. Her weight gain has really slowed down in the last few months, but I think it is because she is SOOOO active now. We did a photo shoot yesterday, so here are the pictures.

I love the drool on her shirt! Precious! Where did you get the headband? I love it.
I have been spanking my kids' hands and bottoms for a long time. They know I mean business, too. Poor Katie got a spanking yesterday on her hand when she intentionally dumped her whole plate of food in the floor. I told her "no," but before I could run over there, over it went. She didn't get any other dinner, either. I just don't think she was hungry.
We do sign language with Katie, too. I couldn't for the life of me remember the sign for juice the other day. Ben piped up and said, here it is mommy. He was right! Gotta love kids!
She is growing up so fast. We used the hand squeeze for discipline for a long time. I still use it with Jack to help to get his attention when I'm telling him something. He has started calling us a "turd head" lately. We think he picked it up at church. It's hard not to laugh.
Happy 8 month birthday Anna!
8 months...wow! that's hard to believe! Where did you get that adorable headband??? Anna Kate's hair is falling out so bows are out of the question...
Elisa, my mom got the headband at a little baby boutique in KY. This is the smallest size they have and she has one for when her head gets bigger. As you can tell from the pictures, Anna wears it alot. The only problem is she likes to pull it out:)
