Happy Mother's Day

Joe and I want to wish our mothers a Happy Mother's Day! We are sorry we can't be with you today. We love you both and thank you for being such great examples for us! Thank you for teaching us how to be good parents. You have both been great role models for us over the years.

Church was great today. Our pastor preached a great Mother's Day message that was very challenging to me. He told all the mothers that the number one thing we need to do in our lives is to love Jesus more than anything else (above our children and spouses). The second thing we need to do as mothers is to teach our children to love Jesus with all their hearts. I was challenged by this message and I want to challenge all my friends with this same thing. It is very easy to put our spouses and children before Jesus, but that is not what we are supposed to do.

Joe and I had a great weekend with Nathan, Vicki, Emma, and Jack. They came down from Louisville Friday. We had fun spending time with them! Thanks for coming to see us! We love you guys!

Mom, I love you! Happy Mother's Day!

Esther, We love you! Happy Mother's Day!

Emma was very helpful with Anna. She helped Vicki feed her a bottle.

I think Anna and Emma are going to be big buddies when Anna gets a little older.

I think Jack is a little too big for Anna's rocker.

Anna hanging out with Aunt Vicki.

Uncle Dan came for dinner last night. He rode his new Harley and Jack absolutely loved it. That is an under statement. Jack could not stop talking about it.

Anna and Daddy playing at Cardins. Uncle Dan took us all out for ice-cream since he couldn't bring his pie for dessert. Uncle Dan always brings a pie when he comes over for dinner, but he couldn't figure out how to bring it this time.

Emma after her ice-cream cone.

Jack drinking Mom's milk shake and holding his ice-cream.

When we got home from Cardins, Emma gave Anna her bath. Emma was a great helper all weekend.

Jack in his John-Deer pjs.

Aunt Vicki made Anna fly.

Emma and Anna right before bed.

I think Emma enjoyed playing with Anna.
